Corporate days that don't feel corporate.
Activities your team will actually look forward to — coached, scored, photographed. Tell us about the team and the brief and we'll shape the day around them.
A working day that ends in actual cheers.
Angle Entertainment runs corporate away-days, client-entertainment afternoons, conference break-outs, end-of-quarter socials and reward days from our venue on Lincoln Road in Peterborough. The format is simple: rotate the group across two or three activities (escape rooms, axe throwing, bouldering or the gaming lounge), feed them, give them somewhere to sit afterwards. Everything happens under one roof, so you park once and the day stays inside the same building — no transfers, no second-venue logistics.
Talk to us about invoicing, risk assessments, accessibility and any HR-sensitive details when you book — we'll work them into the package. Most of our corporate bookings settle on a single invoice payable after the event, with risk-assessment paperwork shared in advance and uploaded into your H&S system if you need it.
Check availabilityWhy away-days at Angle work for hybrid and remote-first teams
A lot of our corporate bookings are remote-first or hybrid teams meeting in person for the day. Those teams have a specific problem: people who only know each other through Slack and a Zoom rectangle need an excuse to actually talk in the real world, and a sit-down lunch is usually not enough. Escape rooms force communication — there is no way to solve a sixty-minute room without listening to each other and assigning roles. Axe brackets give the team a low-stakes competitive structure that levels the playing field between the senior account director and the new junior. Bouldering quietly rewards trust (you spot each other) and lets the conversation flow naturally.
Tell us how the team works (or doesn't), what dynamics you want to surface, who the day is for (engineering team versus sales team versus all-hands), and any HR sensitivities — we'll suggest the right activity rotation and brief our coaches to land on it.
Client entertainment and the alcohol-free angle
For client-entertainment afternoons (thank-yous, contract closes, end-of-pitch decompressions) the alcohol-free format is an asset, not a liability. It lets you invite clients who don't drink without a fuss, it sidesteps the safeguarding awkwardness of taking clients out drinking on a weekday, and it keeps the focus on the activity rather than the bar. Several of our regular corporate clients use Angle as the daytime half of a client-entertainment day and then move on to a city-centre restaurant for the evening — best of both worlds, with the client photo from the axe range as the morning-after follow-up.
Risk assessments, paperwork, finance
We can share a generic activity-by-activity risk assessment in advance, and produce a site-specific one tailored to your group on request — useful if your H&S team needs paperwork in their system before the booking is signed off. The venue is Living Wage Foundation accredited (we publish accreditation), public liability insurance is in place, and all coaches are trained in our internal safety SOPs (WATL rules for the axe range, BMC-aligned bouldering brief, NPLQ-trained first-aider on shift).
Finance-wise: single invoice payable after the event by BACS, deposit per head to secure larger bookings, balance settled within agreed payment terms. We'll add purchase-order references to the invoice if your finance team needs them. VAT-registered, registered company name Angled Experiences Ltd.
Conference break-outs and team-of-team gatherings
For conferences or all-company off-sites bringing a hundred-plus people into Peterborough, we can run a rotating-break-out format: groups of 8–16 cycle through three or four activities over an afternoon, with food slots staggered so the whole group eats together at the end. We'll work out the rotation maths with you, brief the coaches, and reserve seating in the lounge for the food finale. Tell us your headcount, your slot length and your event date when you call.
For smaller conference break-outs (a single team off the main agenda for an afternoon) we run a much simpler two- or three-activity rotation and you're typically in and out inside three hours including the food.
Built around your group.
Pick a package, add anything you like, and we'll prep the venue ahead of you.
