We run our kids' parties on a circuit so no-one's waiting and everyone gets a turn: a family escape room (Dino is the perennial favourite), time on our bouldering wall, the gaming lounge, then a party-room slot for cake.
A dedicated host runs the day, but at least one parent or carer must stay on-site throughout — under-16s need an adult in the lane for axe throwing, an adult in the room for escape rooms, and an adult in line of sight for bouldering. Coffee's on; most parents end up joining in.
